Sidratul Muntaha Masjid & Madrasa
At Sidratul Muntaha Welfare Trust, we pride ourselves on the beautiful Masjid and Madrasa that we have established. The Jama Masjid-Royd Street is the largest Masjid in the surrounding area of Royd & Park Street in Kolkata, India. The Masjid has been standing tall for almost five decades and has become one of the most recognizable Masjids in the city of Kolkata. People from all walks of life come to offer Jumah Salah and experience the beauty and tranquility of the Masjid.
The Madrasa Sidra Tul Muntaha was founded in 2013, with the vision of providing Islamic education with modern facilities and a homely environment. Maulana Muhammad Shabbir Alam Misbahi, the founder of the Madrasa, has been the driving force behind this noble endeavor. From the very beginning, the Madrasa has attracted students from across the country due to its high-quality education and nurturing environment. Maulana Shabbir has been fully dedicated to the Madrasa and is working tirelessly to develop it in accordance with his own ideas and ideals.
The Madrasa’s motto is to provide Islamic education with modern facilities and a homely environment. The Madrasa offers Hifz Quran e Kareem with Tajweed and Islamic education (deeni taleem), and the syllabus of Jamia Ashrafia, Mubarakpur, to its students. The Madrasa provides hostel, library, food, and medical health facilities for the students. It aims to create a peaceful and productive environment for students to learn and grow.
Masjid and Madrasa, both are crucial components of the Islamic community. They work hand in hand to create an atmosphere that fosters spiritual growth and intellectual development. The Masjid provides a place for Muslims to come together and worship, while the Madrasa provides an education that allows them to understand their faith better.
